http://i.gsmarena.com/ii/newsimg/061017_lg-ku800.jpg Vodafone (http://www.gsmarena.com/vodafone_goes_chocolate-news-226.php#) announced their Christmas lineup of mobile phones (http://www.gsmarena.com/vodafone_goes_chocolate-news-226.php#). The most interesting of all is the new Chocolate LG KU800 (http://www.gsmarena.com/lg_ku800-1744.php) which is to feature 3G (http://www.gsmarena.com/vodafone_goes_chocolate-news-226.php#) support, a microSD memory card (http://www.gsmarena.com/vodafone_goes_chocolate-news-226.php#) slot, a 2 megapixel camera and a battery with enhanced capacity.
The Vodafone mobiles for this year's winter holidays include a wide range of exclusive and non-exclusive Vodafone handsets to suit every taste. The long list includes 5 exclusive 3G multimedia devices: Nokia 6234, Motorola V1100, Samsung (http://www.gsmarena.com/vodafone_goes_chocolate-news-226.php#) ZV40, Samsung ZV50 and Sony Ericsson (http://www.gsmarena.com/vodafone_goes_chocolate-news-226.php#) V630i along with 5 exclusive entry level 3G models: LG L600V, Sagem my600V and my800V, Sharp 770SH and finally, Vodafone 710 - the first single-branded Vodafone consumer 3G handset. Beside those, and the exclusive Sharp GX29, that is again one of the Vodafone exclusives, but lacks 3G capabilities, Vodafone would also be marketing a lot of other non-exclusive handsets such as 3G-ones: LG KU800, Motorola MOTORAZR maxx V6, Motorola MOTORAZR V3xx, Nokia N73, Nokia 6151, Nokia 7390, Nokia 6288, Samsung Z400V, Samsung Z540V, Samsung Z560V, Samsung Z720V, Sony Ericsson K610i, Sony Ericsson K800i, Sony Ericsson W850i; and of course 2.5G ones such as: Motorola MOTOKRZR K1, Nokia 6070, Sagem myC5-3, Samsung X510V, Samsung X680V, Sony Ericsson K310i.
Among the most interesting of the gang is the brand-new LG Chocolate (http://www.gsmarena.com/vodafone_goes_chocolate-news-226.php#) phone, whose predecessor already took the European market by storm. You can find our in-house review of LG KG800 (http://www.gsmarena.com/vodafone_goes_chocolate-news-226.php#) here (http://www.gsmarena.com/lg_kg800_chocolate-review-88.php). The new Chocolate, named KU800 features a bunch of new features and clearly shows that this time it is aimed not only at the people with pure looks in mind but also ones that care about functionality. The LG KU800 comes equipped with the same touch-sensitive navigation keypad but has slightly larger dimensions. It has a 2 megapixel camera (http://www.gsmarena.com/vodafone_goes_chocolate-news-226.php#) plus a secondary video call one, 3G support with streaming TV, a microSD card slot and finally, a battery (http://www.gsmarena.com/vodafone_goes_chocolate-news-226.php#) with an enhanced capacity of 1050 mAh instead of 800 mAh.
The LG KU800 Chocolate will be available by Christmas.
